Hunt County Senior Commodities Distribution offers commodity boxes to individuals 60 and over living in Hunt County, on the 1st Friday after the first Wednesday of the month at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Individuals must qualify. To do so bring photo Id, SS Card and proof of income for everyone living in the home, to distribution OR take to Commerce Food Bank, Monroe St. on any Thursday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Also offered at this time for those who qualify for commodity boxes, are the Bread of Life Food Pantry boxes. Questions call 903-886-1515 or email us at bolfp@commercenazarene.org Each participant receives one box of food a month. The commodities box contains a variety of food including: reduced-fat milk, instant non-fat milk, canned meats, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, cheese, rice, pasta, fruit juice and cereal.
